Upon your arrival at Tangier airport/port, our agent will be there to welcome you and take you on a captivating city tour, tailored to your schedule. Free time to explore the whitewashed hillside medina, home to the Dar el Makhzen - a museum housing a treasure trove of Moroccan artifacts. Within the medina, you'll also find the American Legation Museum, which tells the story of the first diplomatic relations between the U.S. and Morocco in an 1821 Moorish-style former consulate. Additionally, we'll visit the legendary Hercules caves, where, according to mythology, Hercules took a break during his labor, and whose opening is shaped like the African continent. Afterward, we'll head up to the 1000ft site above sea level at the entrance of the strait of Gibraltar for breathtaking views. You'll have some free time to explore the city, and then we'll settle in for an overnight stay in Tangier.
After breakfast, we drive to Chefchaouen, where the blue-washed buildings of the old town provide a magical ambiance. Early morning departure to the Merzouga desert, with a scenic drive through the charming alpine-style architecture of Ifran, famous for its ski slopes, forests, and majestic lion statue. As you travel further into the wilderness, you'll come across the stunning Cedar forests that are home to a unique sub-population of Barbary macaques. Continue your journey through the vast agricultural hinterland of Midelt and Errachida, before reaching the awe-inspiring Ziz Valley, renowned for its rocky terrain and magnificent passage. As you arrive in Erfoud, it's time to hop on a camel for an unforgettable sunset ride into the desert camp. Upon your arrival, you'll be treated to a delicious dinner under the stars, accompanied by traditional local music and a cozy campfire. As the day draws to a close, we arrive in Boumalne Dades, where you will have the opportunity to discover the mesmerizing canyons that are the hallmark of this region. Spend the night in Boumalne Dades, reveling in the beauty of the surrounding landscape and the warmth of the local hospitality.
The trip continues through the valley of the roses that attracts the romantic at heart who is likely to faint at the opportunity to visit it, especially in the spring, taking the road known as the One Thousand Kasbahs Road.
Visiting Amridil Kasbah which holds a unique historical treasure, initially built in the 17th century and appears on the 50Dh note, a living museum showcases traditional Kasbah life over the centuries. drive to Marrakech through Ouarzazate visiting Atlas Studio, where imagination runs free, discovering the hidden stories of the movie-making world.
We also visit the 17th-century kasbah Ait Ben Haddou which is considered a great example of Moroccan earthen clay architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1987. Ait Ben Haddou is a historical site along the former caravan route between the desert and Marrakech. The drive continues via Tishka Pass, reaching an altitude of 2260m. Overnight stay in Marrakech.
A local guide takes you on a journey of Marrakech. The tour allows you to visit many landmarks such as Bahia Palace (The name means "brilliance," a set of beautiful gardens that was built in the late 19th century and intended to be a palace at its time). The historic royal necropolis Saadian Tombs dates to the time of the Saadian dynasty. Koutoubia is the largest mosque. Jamaa El Fna, the central and marketplace square. After the Marrakech visit, transfer to Essaouira. Overnight stay in Essaouira.
Free time to explore the coastal wind Essaouira or Taros in Berber. The city attracts plenty of windsurfers between April and November. The city is well known also for its fortified medina and its art galleries and boutiques, or watch the fishing nets and traditional boats constructed in the hugely atmospheric port. The city also has a vibrant cultural mix. Transfer to Marrakech and drop off at your accommodation.
